I’m Camille Salvador, a
marketer by profession. I currently run 2 companies:
P&E Digital and Lulu Lashes. These two brands are a
reflection of my passion for marketing and my love for everything beauty and lifestyle. These opportunities didn’t come to me by choice. But when
the doors opened, I welcome it with no doubt. Although, I had
thoughts I wasn’t ready.
Everyday, I’m grateful to my younger self for listening to those who believed in me and what I can do.

How do you envision yourself in 5-10 years?
Honestly speaking, I do not have goals set going as far as 5-10 years. Since the pandemic happened, planning that far seems quite impossible. My life
has been a steady roller coaster in the past four
years, so I just learned to ride with it. While I do have a list of things that I want to achieve, the farthest that I can do is within a year.As of late, the goal is to become healthier and to have an improved balance between work and leisure. I used to have this great fear of becoming financially unstable again, so I developed a lot of
unhealthy habits affecting my sleep, level of productivity, and movement. With these things in mind, I am also doing my best to unlearn these habits and to not depend too much
of my identity with work.In a year’s time, hopefully, I am doing better.
Share your personal tips about SELF- LOVE & SELF-CARE in empowering yourself and the women around you.
If it makes you happy, as long as you’re not hurting
anyone, go for it. If you can afford it, buy it. If it
makes your life better, do it. Being a woman in
business is already a challenging path – you’ll
encounter lots of doubters, men disrespecting you,
and people questioning your capabilities. You owe it
to yourself for overcoming these struggles. What others will say won’t matter anyway (trust
me, this is from someone who was once a people
pleaser!)
What qualities or fashion sense/style do you have that aligns to MADAME PH Brand?
I love that the brand embraces femininity and
does not shy away from it. It values comfort while
also being stylish, which is definitely something I
look for in clothes.Oh, I love being a woman!

All products are handmade by local artisans and
craftsmen in many parts of the Philippines.
A celebration of Gawang Pinoy, Galing ng Pinoy!
In a world of quick shift to mass- produced economy and the challenges of colonial mentality, what do you think are the initiatives or mindset change need to be made so we can encourage Filipinos on mindful purchasing by supporting local brands and sustainable local products?
Brands need to open a discussion on
mindful consumption while highlighting
the impacts this switch provides. While
it’s true that there are great environmental
effects with slow fashion, a better
conversation begins when the topics are
more personal and relatable.
Why is it still important to celebrate the Filipino artistry and craftsmanship, despite the modern era we live in today?
In the simplest way, supporting Filipino
brands creates jobs and sustains
communities. When people purchase
Filipino-made goods, they support a
network of local artisans, manufacturers,
and small businesses – all of whom rely
on this demand to sustain and expand
operations. It also keeps money
circulating in the local economy. Again,
supporting a local brand means
supporting their suppliers, partners, and
other Filipino businesses they work
alongside; this creates a cycle of
reinvestment.Eventually, this will allow local brands to
become more affordable and accessible
over fast fashion.
