world aboard the luxury ship Explora, a
cutting-edge vessel that embodies the
pinnacle of sophistication, comfort, and
exploration. My journey began in the
world of luxury hospitality, where I
shaped my expertise as a hotelier with
the renowned Aman brand.Having travelled the globe and worked
with these two prestigious brands, I now
bring a wealth of knowledge and
experience to my role, dedicated to
creating unforgettable moments for
travelers seeking both adventure and refined luxury.

How do you envision yourself in 5-10 years?
I see myself continuing to evolve as a luxury travel and hospitality leader, expanding my role to encompass a broader influence on both the experiential and operational sides of the business. Building on my foundation as a Destinations Experience Ambassador, I envision myself taking on senior leadership roles, possibly overseeing global destination programs or experiential services for
a luxury brand, whether in hospitality, cruising, or even private travel services.Over the next decade, I foresee leveraging my expertise to create more meaningful, culturally sensitive, and sustainable travel experiences—especially as the luxury travel sector moves towards more conscientious and eco-friendly approaches.
As the world continues to embrace new trends in luxury travel, such as remote, off-the-beaten-path destinations and the integration of technology with personal service, I hope to be at the forefront of these innovations, influencing how luxury travel evolves. I plan to
drive the future of travel by setting new standards for what it means to provide unparalleled service in a world that’s increasingly interconnected yet more conscious of its impact.

Always put yourself first! Cliché it may sound, but
most, if not all women tend to be a people-pleaser
and this is amplified by societal expectations that
women should be nurturing, accommodating, and
selfless. Set emotional boundaries: it’s okay to say
“no” or to take time for yourself, even in social
settings. Through time, I learned that in such a way,we must be gentle with ourselves. Practicing self-
compassion is essential for healing and movingforward. And lastly, we must celebrate ourselves!
Recognize and celebrate your accomplishments, big
and small. Whether it’s an achievement at work or
simply getting through a challenging day, honour
your efforts and resilience.
What qualities or fashion sense/style do you have that aligns to MADAME PH Brand?
I’ve come to realize that the most meaningful
fashion statements are those that embody
authenticity and tell a story. For example, Madame
PH, a retail brand celebrating Filipino culture,
creates handcrafted accessories and home goods
made from natural, eco-friendly materials. Their
products support Filipino artisans, creating an
avenue for them to sustain their craft while
ensuring that their work remains viable in today’s
global marketplace. Wearing such brands not only
elevates my style but also makes me a conscious
consumer—someone who invests in fashion with
purpose and meaning.

In a world of quick shift to mass- produced economy and the challenges of colonial mentality, what do you think are the initiatives or mindset change need to be made so we can encourage Filipinos on mindful purchasing by supporting local brands and sustainable local products?
Shifting the mindset of Filipinos toward supporting
local brands and embracing sustainable products is
both a crucial and challenging endeavour. The
Philippines, like many other nations, faces the dual
pressures of globalization and consumerism, where
cheap, mass-produced items often take precedence over
locally crafted, sustainable alternatives. Yet, this shift is
possible. We start off by educating the public on the
value of local products. This is achievable by building,,
highlighting the craftmanship and showcasing the
intricate skills and history behind every Filipinos.Personally, I prefer local brands as our brands are in
line with the country’s temperate weather and
humidity. My purchasing decisions are: product claims
and user reviews. Cost comes third as I believe Filipino
crafts are worth the money.
Why is it still important to celebrate the Filipino artistry and craftsmanship, despite the modern era we live in today?
Celebrating Filipino artistry and craftsmanship is vital,
especially in today’s modern era, where technology,
globalization, and mass production often overshadow
traditional, handcrafted work. Filipino artistry is deeply
intertwined with the country’s rich cultural history and
diverse traditions. Thus, it preserves cultural heritage.
With this, Filipino crafts also promote sustainability
and empower local communities. Lastly, this is also the
best way to global recognition of Filipino Talent that
fosters our Filipino Pride! As what Madame PH
embodies, Gawang Pinoy, Galing ng Pinoy!
